More About Coach Tyler

coaching 1on1 and small groups of kids for the past 7 years. Fortunate enough to see these kids move on to success at the high school level and for their local professional clubs. I have coached for the following organizations; Woolwich youth soccer(local club team), Lansing United(amateur NPSL team), Pittsburgh Riverhounds(Professional USL team) and the Swope Park Rangers(Professional USL team).

I grew up in England, and was apart of Newcastle United’s academy for 6 years. Also I have been playing professional for 7 years. Throughout Europe, USL and MLS.

I typically focus on the technical side of the player. All about first touch, quick feet and skills. Teaching the basics from the ground up. Which would include passing, shooting, fundamentals etc. With my training techniques, the individual will become extremely quick to think on the spot, learn how to eliminate their opponents from the game, and give them the abilities to control the ball without panic in any given situation

He took the information we provided, did his own evaluation and built a training plan that was energetic and challenging, yet fun.
