I have been coaching AAU travel teams and training athletes for 10 years. I've worked in several different high-end training facilities in Connecticut. I've coached ages 7-23, anywhere from first learning the basics to getting athletes ready for their college & professional baseball seasons. I have worked with girls softball and female athletes. I am also a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have been training athletes in strength & conditioning along with speed & agility for the past 5 years.

Tyler Caserta started off his baseball career at Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT where he was a 3-year starter. Caserta helped lead Bunnell to its first ever Southwest Conference Championship in 2007. In 2008, Caserta was named to the all-SWC first team after batting .410. Caserta continued his baseball career collegiately at NCAA Division 1 Central Connecticut State University. In 2010, Central Connecticut won the Northeast Conference Championship and received a bid to the NCAA Regional Tournament. Caserta went on in 2014 to play independent professional baseball for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League. Since then, Tyler has been playing for various teams across the independent professional baseball landscape including the New Hampshire Wild of the Empire Professional Baseball League, and most recently the Lexington Mustangs of the Thoroughbred League, where they won the league championship. Caserta ended the 2017 season signing with the Bridgeport Bluefish of the highly prestigious Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Tyler has been coaching and instructing youth baseball for the past 10 years. He looks to bring his coaching and playing experiences to help better and guide the future baseball players of tomorrow.

My plan when working with a client is to first evaluate their mechanics and posture. I use high-quality cameras to capture slow-motion biomechanics. I then after will create a specific program for that athlete. I use the MLB blast motion Bluetooth sensor to attach to the athletes bat to acquire metrics such as bat speed, swing plane, launch angle, time to contact, and much more. I have a tri-pod attached to a camera with a remote I can turn on & off when needed. This will allow me to put together a compilation of swings from the session. I will not only analyze the video with the client but can also send it to them or the parent. I strongly encourage the client to save all these videos as references of progression. I have played at every level of baseball from little league to the professionals. I can teach every position on the field thoroughly along with numerous drills. As far as strength training/speed & agility, I use a sport specific method to mimic the exact movements and muscle groups needed to perform at a high level. I supply all the needed equipment and am willingly to travel to you.
