More About Coach Tyger

I have experience training elite athletes ranging from professional down to youth. My age range is wide as I have lots of knowledge for athletes of all skill levels. I have worked as a trainer and coach for 5 years in California.

I competed at the division 1 level playing college ball at University of Pacific. In 2013 I was selected in the MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. I have played 4 seasons of professional baseball and have coached professionally and collegiately.

I customize my training programs for each of my athletes given their age, level, skill set and their baseball goals. First I like to get to know my athletes and feel out their goals and what they want to work on. Than we customize a training regiment together. Some things I specialize in are speed/agility, strength/conditioning and core. Each client session is different and varies given their preferences.

Coach Tyger is awesome! My son is 8 absolutely loves his coaching with Tyger. We looked for a private coach for a long time and in many places and we are more than happy with Tyger! He has a great way to relate and teach kids. My son already told me he’s hitting better than he ever has. We highly recommend Tyger!

Coach Tyger is the best! He is extremely focused on how to improve his students and was able to pinpoint within a few minutes changes my son needed to become a better hitter. My son's confidence improved significantly by the end of the session. I would highly recommend Tyger!!

My son Liam had a wonderful time working with Tyger. He’s only 7 years old and real took to what Tyger taught him. Tyger was very patient and communicated very well with my son. Liam can’t wait til his next session with Tyger!

Great work!

Coach Tyger is awesome! The adjustment he made to my son's swing in the first lesson is going to improve his batting for life. Loved seeing the confidence on my son's face as he started crushing the ball pitch after pitch.

You could tell immediately that Tyger is great working with younger athletes - he's approachable, relatable, patient, motivating. I'm super excited for my son that he gets to work with Coach Tyger.

We met Tyger today for the first time and were very impressed. Being involved in baseball for the last 12 years we've met numerous coaches. Tyger stood out. First of all he was prompt. Also, He didn't attempt to just tell us what we wanted to hear. He pointed out the good and bad in our sons areas to work on. He has already began to change our son swing, but is realistic in telling him it will not happen without consistent practice/training. He seems to have a great knowledge of the sport and desire to help others learn the sport. Most important, my son took to his coaching style. We look forward to our son learning more from him.

My son had his first lesson with Coach Pederson. From start to finish Coach Pederson was patient. He ran some defensive drills and hitting drills. He adjusted my sons way of grounding a ball. Made some adjustments with his swing and I saw results. Coach Pederson definitely knows his baseball. I am glad I found him and decided to train with him. I know when my son likes a person (Coach) because he keeps talking about them. Later that night he asked me if he could train with Coach Pederson again. We’ll continue to work with Tyger Pederson! Thanks, Coach.

Just had my second session with Coach Pederson, my son couldn’t be any more happier than what he was leaving training with Coach Tyger. Coach Tyger been very patient with my son showing him the proper techniques on how to be a better batter. My son can’t wait for his next Session with Coach, I would recommend you try a session with coach Tyger 💪🏽

Coach Tyger was a complete professional. Coach Tyger was able to help my 14 year old brother quickly adjust his swing and improve upon his hitting in just one session. I look forward to watching my brother develop as a better baseball player with the guidance of Coach Tyger.

My son worked out with Lucas Herbst. He had some great insight for him to consider and helped him with his batting approach. Very friendly, my son looks forward to working with him again. I would strongly recommend.

Had a great time with hitting and pitching. At the beginning of the training, we corrected my swing so I would hit line drives, instead of ground balls and pop ups. That was the main mistake that had to be corrected. Also, we were practicing pitching and I think it went good despite the fact that my last training was like 1.5-2 months ago.

Tyger is an amazing coach. Signed my kids up with him and seeing the techniques he showed them are really gonna pay off. As a father and seeing the things my kids did today at training made me very proud. Tyger you did an awesome job and thank you for working with them and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Initially, I didn't think that we were going to be able to experience this coach because the website showed him in CA even though he picked up on a zip code search for Oahu. When I sent requests out he wasn't the first or the fastest to respond but I say, give him a minute to answer because it's well worth it. This coach is spot on for quickly identifying technique issues and provides immediate feedback to the learner. One thing in particular my son noted about the coach experience was the way Tyger could visually track his batting movements, mimic the same swing and present it back to my son then show him a more effective method. Another unique difference was the way he was interactive. Instead of the usual, "you are doing it wrong," he would ask my son if he could identify what went wrong on the swing, thereby teaching him how to self correct more efficiently. The charge for lessons with him is a bit higher but in my opinion, well worth it. He is very experienced and knows what he's doing. I have seen a lot of coaches over the last 10 years my son has played baseball and I haven't seen a better coach yet.

Coach Tyger really delivers! In the short amount of time spent with him, we have seen major improvements in hitting and overall baseball knowledge. We have had several different coaches in baseball and in one-on-one type training and Tyger is by far on another level in terms of process, knowledge, instruction, and mentality. What I really appreciated the most is his commitment to long term player development rather than short term thinking which may produce a quick fix but won't benefit the player down the road. He gets along great with my son and is very encouraging and positive. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is SERIOUS about results and willing to make a commitment to player development.
