More About Coach Tricia

I have worked soccer camps since I was about 16 years old. I also coached with various camps and clinics throughout my college career. I have worked camps that coached high school players that were interested in pursuing college soccer. I am currently coaching with the Soccer Sparks Program where I coach 2-3 year olds, 4-5 year olds, and 6-9 year olds. Most of my coaching experience took place in Mississippi. I also helped train my brother who won 2 high school State Championships and is currently playing for West Texas A&M.

Four year starter for Madison Central High School in Madison, MS. Helped lead MCHS to the state semi- final game in 2007, and to the State Championship game in 2008. Scored a team best 24 goals and 12 assists in 2009 season, helping the Lady Jaguars win the State Championship. A first-team All State selection, I was named the Clarion Ledger's 2009 State Player of the Year "Miss Soccer".
Was selected as the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame 2009 Pop Star Player of the Year.
Named the 2009 Mississippi Gatorade Soccer Player of the Year. Was a 2009 MAC All Star Soccer player .
A member of the MCHS track team that won the 5A State Championship in 2008 and the second place title in 2009.
Played for Mississippi Fire `92 club team and coach Cecil Hinds, won the 2009 state title. Played ODP soccer for the state of Mississippi and was selected to play in pool games.
Played Div I collegiate soccer for the University of Southern Mississippi for 4 years. I played forward and outside mid position thoughout my career.

I trained with my dad, a former NFL player, so I believe in hard work and having proper fundamentals. We will focus on drills that improve ball skills in different situations such as juggling, controlling air balls, turns, one on ones, dribbling and foot skills, passing, shots, crossing, and finishing.

Tricia has a special talent for coaching. She has a good eye and is a great critique. She knows the game and knows techniques and skills that can better any players game.
Tricia works extremely hard as an athlete. She put in extra time outside of her original practice times to better her game. There was no doubt that she would play on a collegiate team.
