Traveling throughout Europe the past 8 years has given me the chance to learn various styles , concepts and workouts as a player and coach . Clinics , camps and individual workouts ranging from age 7-18 created a great learning environment for all young athletes. The attention to details allow me as a coach to take players to the next step especially in the young athletes ages 8-12 .
I attended Xavier University, during my time I won 3 rings ( 2 NCAA Tournament, 1 Conference) , Most Improve Player Award and lead the conference in rebounds. After graduating, I played professionally in Austria (2 championships,1 Cup Title and League MVP) , France, Hungary, Switzerland ( Teams Top Scorer, 1 Super Cup Title), Bulgaria ( 1 Cup Title), Germany, Turkey, Hungary ( Center of Year, Defensive Player of Year, First Team All League), Hungary ( First Team All League, Center of The Year), Denmark (1 Championship, Finals MVP, Player of the Year, Import of the Year, Center of the Year, First Team All League). I’ve been playing professionally for 9 years and visited numerous countries listed above are a few countries.
Attention to detail, first and foremost building the basics. Every client has different qualities and skill sets, so focusing on their areas that need development as well as progressing areas that are strong. Specific drills will help and create muscle memory to reach the next step daily. Running a session involves high level energy, fun and progress. Stretching , loosening the body , which is a warm up that helps balance, tight muscles and confidence. This leads to some jogging and short reaction drills for coordination. Footwork, shooting / layups and passing drills and techniques depend on skill level of the client. Each fundamental such shooting , footwork and passing will have variations of difficulty to motivate the client every session.
