More About Coach Trae
For years I have played basketball. I have worked as a coach and worked with the Athletic Coordinators in running summer programs for the community basketball league.
I played basketball, football and got my 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I played basketball in high school and made team several times until I got injured playing football, but that did not stop me. I continued to train and played several years for AAU.
Typical session would be when a player comes in he will be assessed on his ability what he can do and what he needs to work on. We will run several drills to include but limited to layups, defensive drills, spin moves, floaters, jump shots from all areas of the court. We will also work on ball handling with one and two balls at a time. Also going to work on what foot to attack, a lot where it becomes muscles memory, we will do leg workouts to jump higher. Ball handling: right pound, left pound, two hands, etc based on ball handling abilities it will be more intense, escape dribble; Spin move; Half spin; Tuff layups; Midrange; Three point; Floater; Step back; Hesitation. Basketball side steps, diagonal; rebounding, the same in game moves for 2 days, then another for two days, then back to the first in game move, then back to the second, then i will come up with new in game moves, and that will be repetition
