Client Reviews
Case (CoachUp client)
Coach Tony was very patient and flexible during our session, willing to recognize and work with my strengths and weaknesses. He is very knowledgeable about soccer with a ton of playing and coaching experience, and I would recommend him if you're looking to improve your game!
Maria (CoachUp client)
Phenomenal coach! Training is extremely dynamic and my 11 year old always looks forward to it. Coach motivates & critiques my son in a positive, effective manner. I see a huge difference in training 1:1. It is also easy to schedule trainings with him as he keeps in contact with us throughout the week & informs us of his availability & any changes in scheduling in advance. I highly recommend this coach.
Frederick (CoachUp client)

Marvin (CoachUp client)
Very understanding and helpful!
Abigail (CoachUp client)
Coach Tony seemed like a good coach, but he kept on cancelling and rescheduling. We had to find another coach for more consistency.
SOCCER PARENTS/PLAYERS/COACHES (Testimonial)
Andy Hoskins-Fairfax Police Youth Club Parent of Goalkeeper (2013) “I have been training with Tony since 2011. I went to his keeper camp after my freshman year in high school where he asked me to play and train with a club he was coaching at the time the Washington DC Fury SC. I enjoyed the intense keeper camp while at the same time working hard and learning how to be a successful keeper. I have been training with him since then and would not be where I am today if it was not for his training. He has taught me the how to play soccer while stressing the mental part of the game. When training, he talks for about ten minutes each session stressing the mental part of the game. Tony has many effective drills that simulate game situations preparing me for any situation that is thrown at you. He is more than willing to answer any questions while training or explain anything that is misunderstood. Tony is a coach who wants to get to know you on and off the field. He is very personable and outgoing. Without Tony’s training over the last 2 years I would not be playing at the college level”. -Ryan Tucker Bethesda, MD-"Tony Howard has worked with my son for a couple of years now and he has transformed my son into a very successful club keeper. We have worked with several other coaches but we stay with Tony because he is the best we have found. I highly recommend Tony Howard to anyone looking to learn or Improve their keeping skills, it has paid off for us. Brian F. Chantilly Soccer Club "We chose Tony Howard who came highly recommended to us from the Virginia Youth Soccer Association, because we were aware of both this expertise and skill at training keepers and his commitment to our local and state community. Our feedback has been incredibly positive....our young GKs have been thrilled about receiving the specialized training that Tony provides to our Region. The coaches are not only skilled, but also present a positive and helpful demeanor towards the kids. Tony brought tremendous value to our program. Just being able to offer specialized GK training shows our commitment to improvement and increases the competitiveness of all of our teams, both Rec and Competitive. ChristianConrad BoardMember Alexandria Soccer Association My daughter has attended Tony Howard’s Ultimate Hands Goalkeeper Academy Training Sessions and her improvement is amazing, Yesenia is more confident on her keeper skills. Coach Tony Howard runs an intense practice with fun games, teaching the right technique for "Great Saves" I can truly recommend this Keeper program. Jesus P. My son has improved his keeper skills so much thanks to Tony Howard. He loves going to his lessons because it is such a positive experience. I would highly recommend any keeper that wants to improve their game to contact Tony Howard to set up their lessons!! Joe S. Dear Tony, thank you for your excellent keeper program. My son has had experience with a few different goal keeper coaches and Tony Howard is by far his favorite. Coach Tony has a great repoire with the kids, knows how to keep them motivated, all the while making the training fun so that they want to work hard for him. This is what separates the good trainers from the great! Lori H-Mother Mclean Premier Boy’s 00. The Tony Howard Ultimate Hands Goalkeeper Academy Training program is amazing! My 12 year old son’s goalie skills have improved drastically the past year after joining Tony’s program. Tony has a talent for working with the kids and building their goal keeping abilities and self confidence. He runs a disciplined program but somehow makes it fun for the kids. My 15 year old son loves the program so much and would do it everyday if he could. Yolande' H. Baltimore Maryland"The transformation in my child's goalkeeping form, skills and technique is massively apparent since she started working with Tony. She looks like a real goalkeeper...and it's fun to watch! My child has always been driven but now has direction; constantly gaining praise from her peers, opponents and their parents. The confidence in her abilities groomed by Tony clearly shows on the pitch and more importantly off the pitch as well. I would recommend anyone serious about improving goalkeeping abilities to the Tony Howard Ultimate Hands Goalkeeper Academy Program. The difference made is simply amazing! Thanks Tony, you're awesome! ~Brian Gorecki (parent-Bowie Soccer/DC United) WOW !! What a great one on one goalkeeper training~ My daughter Kristen "Moose" has been a goalkeeper for her Club/Travel U-12 Soccer Team for over 2 years now ! She brings a rare excitement for the position at her age ~ She was so excited to attend a "goalkeeping" camp, where she could spend all her time doing what she loves best ~ Tony is so good at breaking down the skills into easy to follow steps and your ENTHUSIASM for the sport, the position and teaching....Amazing !!! -- I hope that we can talk some more and arrange for Moose to spend a lot more time with you - She had a blast and at 10 years old - That says it all !!! Pete Watt (Silver Spring Maryland)-Tony Howard has been my daughter’s goalkeeper trainer for over 4 years! He has guided my daughter in many facets of the game--mentally, physically and tactically which is essential to goalkeeping. Because of Tony’s expertise and ability, he is able to squeeze the absolute “most” out of every player he trains and has helped my daughter get opportunities to tryout with the USA U15 National Team. Due to his training, my daughter continues to play at the highest levels and is already being looked at by many NCAA 1 Schools locally and across the country. Tony’s professionalism, knowledge of the game and patience in the development of each player makes his training unique and gives them that extra “edge” that you won’t find elsewhere!
