I am a fully certified baseball coach in California through the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS).

I am a fully certified ASEP instructor (American Sports Education Program).

I am a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

Played college baseball for four (4) years at the University of San Francisco.

Played semi-pro baseball for five (5) years with and against college and minor league players.

The first session is strictly analytical. Short conversation about goals, approach, mentality and current knowledge of hitting. Then I observe and analyze focus, knowledge of the strike zone, balance, mechanics, hand-eye coordination, level of swing, ability to execute basic and advanced skills, demeanor while hitter swings in the cage or on a hitting tee to plan the next several sessions.

Following sessions we will work on building proper mechanics, plate discipline, identifying pitches, confidence and correcting identified weaknesses from above, then move into more advanced skills: correct bunting technique, hitting behind a runner, fly ball with runner on 3rd with less than two outs, using the middle of the field, visual techniques, ocular conditioning, approach at the plate, recognizing situations, simulations and a team approach to the offensive side of the game. My goal is to develop a players hitting skills to advance himself at his current level, advance to higher levels in the game and to become a better young man.

Client Reviews

Turned me from a .188 hitter sophomore year into a .350 hitter junior year. Coach Miller also got me interested in coaching which I started at South San Francisco High and am now the Varsity Head Coach at Lowell High School.
Coach's teaching us that baseball and life is about making constant adjustments is invaluable advice that has helped me through the ups and downs of college and professional baseball.
Coach Miller is the absolute best at detecting and correcting hitting flaws in high school and college baseball players I've seen.
