I played every sport but Golf as a kid. Played baseball in college but I was awful at golf. I could not believe I couldn’t hit a ball that was just sitting there. After countless hours at the range, watching video after video getting tip after tip taking golf lessons that didn’t work. I realized I was going about it the wrong way. I was doing the complete opposite of how my brain learns. See we can’t go out to the range and just beat balls. All we are doing is just ingraining what we already have stored up in our body as muscle memory. I was actually getting worse!! Sound familiar? Just how a musician learns a song you need to treat golf the same way. We have to learn it in pieces unfortunately. Golf is just like everything else you have ever learned in your life. It’s a process that takes time and hard work.

I hold a degree in Advanced teaching and Bio-mechanics. I worked on the PGA Tour as a Fitting Specialist for Mizuno USA. I have worked with complete beginners to Elite level players for the last 13 years. I have coached and mentored many junior golfers. 12 of my Juniors went on to receive college scholarships.

I’ll still compete in Tournaments. I play in the Pebble Beach pro Am sponsored by Cobra Puma every February. Time willing I also try to compete in the Illinois open and any local qualifier I can find. Played High School golf and played at The Golf Academy of the South where I passed my players ability test to teach for the PGA of America.

First thing we do is put you through a swing assessment. Then talk about the science of golf the physics, basic laws you have to abide by.
From there find your root problem, plot out a plan on how to fix that issue. Go over drills that you can do from your house and show you how to video yourself practicing. Then how to upload video to me.
