I have been in the coaching arena for over 30 years. I have coached both football and baseball. Through my mentorship I have guided dozens of college and professional athletes to reach their goals, including my son Niko Goodrum who is a shortstop in the Minnesota Twins organization. I owned the Hit N Run Batting Cages and am now Managing Director of Elite Metro Sports & Cages which is owned by my son Niko.

I was an All-State track and field in high school and All-American track and field in college. I attended Fort Valley State University where I was All-Conference in Football as a quarterback. I have written several articles that have been published in local magazines and newspapers surrounding training and exposure. I am the Senior Baseball/Softball consultant for the TYGTAL Sports Exposure Group.

As a hitting instructor I have a very good eye for talent and even better eye for fundamentals. As a teacher of hitting I am able to instruct my students not only the fundamentals of hitting, but also the tactical and reasoning the hitting art.
