More About Coach Tiffany
I have been personal training and teaching group fitness classes for 3 years. I have experience working with clients from college-aged through 55+ years of age. I have helped clients lose weight, gain weight, prepare for half marathons, and improve their overall health and wellness. I like to start each client with a fitness assessment to gauge where they are and where they want to go. The fitness assessment allows me to learn a client's health and exercise history and their overall goals, and test their cardiovascular and muscular endurance, balance and flexibility. I can then use this information to determine how often we should meet a week and how our sessions will be focused.
Certifications:
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Adult & Child CPR/AED
In 2010, I competed in the Men's Health Urbanathlon in Chicago as a part of a relay team. I did the third leg of the race, which included running 3.0 miles, running up and down the stairs at Soldier Field, and climbing over two cars, a bus, and a wall.
I also ran 2 half marathons in 2012. One in April, and the other in June. My times were 2:14:30 and 2:07:01. In 2013, I ran a 5K every month between September 2013-January 2014.
Sessions will consist of a 5-10 minute warm-up, a workout that mixes cardio intervals with strength exercises, and a cool down and stretch. The specific exercises and cardio intervals will vary by session and client depending on their goals and ability levels.
