More About Coach Tiana

I have coached at the collegiate level for over two years and have done private lessons for over five years. I typically work with ages 12-22.

I played college volleyball and was the captain of my team. I won numerous awards for defensive MVP and All Tournament Teams when we played other Universities.

A typical session for me is really working on fundamentals with the volleyball player to get them working on good technique and then I give them a ton of reps. I tailor each practice to the individual and what they want their goals to be and I also let them know what they need to work on depending what their goals are. Then I also, give homework for them to work on at home.

Coach Tiana delivered exactly what I was looking for - fundamentals. My girls are 11 and 13 and started playing volleyball less than a year ago. Both have a good basis, but I wanted someone to hone in on the little things that make big differences, and she did just that. She knows what she’s doing, and knows how to relay that to the kids so they understand what they need to do to improve. She was direct and firm, but friendly and genuine and both girls really liked her coaching style (which is a big deal when it comes to a 13 year old girl,lol) I would 100% recommend Tiana to anyone looking to learn the sport or improve their level of play.
