More About Coach Theophilus
I coached and trained student athletes at every level from elementary school to NCAA div 1. Started coaching during my final 2 seasons playing in Algeria I was signed as a Player/Coach coaching 14 and under and 16 and under boys team for Club Sportif Constantine. In the States I coached 6th grade boys at Episcopal Collegiate School in Little Rock Arkansas, the Arkansas T-wolves AAU team. From 2016- 2019 I was the assistant basketball coach at Whitehaven high School. In my 2nd year coaching high school we made it to the class AAA regional SEMI FINAL and 2017/18 season we went all the way to the State Championship VS. Penny hardaway’s EAST HIGH SCHOOL
2018/19 season we made it back to State making it to the semi finals.
I played the game of Basketball at every level. In High school I was a 3 year letterman/starter for Pebblebrook High School in Cobb County GA and Joe T Robinson High my senior yr in Little Rock Ar. I earned an athletic Scholarship to Arkansas State University where I became a 2yr starter. After college I began my professional career playing internationally for 8 years in 12 countries such as: Germany, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Kosovo, Romania, Japan, and Algeria. I've earned honors such as All- Import team (kosovo) All-Star Team (kosovo, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico). In 2013 I won my 1st professional Championship in Algeria where I was named the League MVP as well as the finals MVP. In 2010 I was selected to play for U.S. Virgin Islands National Team for a chance to compete for Olympic Gold.
Clients can expect every session to be HIGH INTENSE and at GAME SPEED. They will learn numerous fundamental skills and drills, situational techniques on how to score and defend the basketball. I will develop my student athletes ability to catch, shoot, dribble, post up, run and defend the basketball at a high level. No matter their size or age all my clients will learn how to play every position on the floor. My ultimate goal is to develop my clients to be physically and mentally ready to play the game at the highest level and earn scholarships to the best Universities in the Country.
