More About Coach Terrmel

I was a Major League outfielder and 1st baseman four 4 years. I coached in the Chicago Cubs organization in 2015, which I was the hitting coach for their Short Season A-ball club. In 2016-2018 I was the Dodgers Head Double A hitting coach for three seasons where I was fortunate enough to work with players such as Cody Bellinger, Kyle Farmer, Alex Verdugo, Willie Calhoun, Will Smith, Matt Beaty and more. In 2019 I became the Chicago Cubs MLB Assistant Hitting Coach for the next two years. Working side by side with some of the best hitters in the world such as Javier Baez, Jason Heyward, Kris Bryant, Wilson Contreras, and more. Learn everything I had to teach myself to make it to the Major Leagues and what I learned from coaching these great players. Now my desire is to give you or your child this knowledge.

I was 4th in voting for MLB Rookie of the Year Awards in 2004 while playing for the Montreal Expos, 1st home run ever hit for the Washington Nationals in 2005, played 5 years overseas in Japan having the most memorable hit award in the past century, Former Minor League Player of the Year, 5x Minor league All-Star, College All-American at Long Beach St

Depending on the needs of the individual client. First thing would be identifying the specific needs that fits best for the client. I will put together a tailored-made drill package, including mental discussions that is the exact replica I use while coaching the top prospects in the Dodgers & Cubs Farm systems. It will vary depending on each individual's personality.

Coach Terrmel did an excellent job working with my son this winter. He took the time to develop a set of drills to specifically help him develop his hitting and fielding based on his age level. He spent time during the sessions to help him understand why he was doing each drill and how they would make him better. Great session with Coach Terrmel! By the end of the session I could see improvement in Fisher's swing and I like that he explained why he was doing drills.
