More About Coach Tahesia

I have worked as a coach and trainer for 5 years and also competed professionally in Track and Field for 9 years. I am the head trainer of Fitness by Tru Fit which is a program under Tru Fit Athletics. Tru Fit Athletics is a program that caters to both youth and professional athletes. I have coached track and field athletes from ages 9-21. I also give motivational speeches to teams, schools and to kids who are interested in sports but mainly track and field. For fitness training not sports specific, I have worked with all age groups.

- warm up/Flexibility stretches to prep the muscles for the desired workout
- 7 minute jog or 6 100 striders
- Dynamic Drills and active mobility exercises
- Workout Specific to target daily goal (15-20 mins) (I like to incorporate interval training to get more out of the workout. Increasing you heart rate repeatedly during the session) ex. 1 minute on 45 second off activities. Paring a run with a stationary drill. This session may seem short but very intensive to get maximum benefit from the workout.
Take a break 5-10 minute break
3-5 minute cool down jog
Abs session (each session finish with an abdominal session working the obliques and rectus abdominis.
Light stretching to complete the session

Workout will varies if you are an individual working to improve overall health and fitness or is you an athlete training to get on a team or to compete.
