More About Coach Summer

I am a personal trainer with over 15 years of experience in fitness. I specialize in sport specific conditioning, general fitness, weight loss, crossfit, body building, olympic lifting and power lifting. I build fitness programs specific to my clients' goals, anatomy, and adaptation.
I've coached at Michael Johnson Performance as a Performance Coach, Orange Theory Fitness and F45 as a Coach, and Crunch Fitness LLC as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor.
I've trained all levels of people in their fitness journey from professional and collegiate athletes to general population fitness clients.

My background includes a lifetime of competitive sports: I was a scholarship Division-1 athlete at UCLA, appearing in two NCAA Final Four champions. After college, I played professional soccer in Iceland.
Now, I continue to play semi-professional soccer here in Texas as well as football in the Women’s National Football Conference for the Texas Elite Spartans.
AWARDS: Top 100 athletes in Contra Costa County, California; Top 75 soccer recruits in the country; Graduated from UCLA as a scholar athlete; Certifications: NSCA-CSCS, Crossfit Level-1, NASM, PTEC, Professional Rescuer CPR & AED

In general, before getting to know what my client likes and what brings them joy and energy, a typical session starts with a dynamic warm up, stretching, balance/stability work and muscle activation to prime them for the workout.
Then we move into strength and conditioning. I make sure every movement is completed properly for safety and to increase adaptation and gains.
We finish with a burner and then I stretch and roll my clients out.

Emma really loves working with Summer. Loves how she combines skills, fitness, and mindset. She definitely knows what she's doing!!

My daughter enjoyed her first session with Summer. She made adjustments and fine tuned her skills which she had not had been exposed to before.

My son is 13 and really enjoys the workouts and drills the coach summer puts him through. Very challenging and she focuses on areas that he needs to improve on.

Summer is helping coach my 5 year old daughter with her agility, on the ball, and scoring soccer skills. Summer is a highly skilled soccer player and she is very effective at demonstrating and communicating foundational to advanced ball skills with my 5 year old.
