More About Coach Steve
I've been individually training both athletes and non-competing athletes for over 6 years. I've personally been training and studying health/fitness for 10 years. I believe in a holistic approach to wellness and performance, which is why I put great emphasis on a healthy mind, body, and spirit. I am a NESTA and ISSA Certified Personal trainer, Certified Professional Coach, as well as, Reiki Levels I & II certified. My complementary certifications allow me to maximize your efforts both while you train and while you recover--ultimately allowing you to reach new levels of performance. I have experience training individuals both in the gym and outside (i.e., on the beach), which has allowed me to gain experience and techniques that will work you in new and fun ways while we work towards achieving your goals.
In high school, I was selected as a 1st Team All-State offensive linemen for 2 years in a row and a DFRC All-Star game participant. I was recruited by schools such as Arkansas University, the University of Delaware, and a few more. During that time, I trained with an emphasis on powerlifting. Outside of football, I've have personal experience in multiple obstacle courses (Spartan Races and the Tough Mudder), Crossfit, and bootcamps.
Sessions are tweaked based on individual needs and goals; however, my main focus is functional fitness. The movements you will go through are all programmed to make you the best athlete on your field of play. You can expect to be trained towards becoming a well balanced athlete when it comes to speed, agility, power, and endurance.
