I am a Golf Professional from Phoenix, AZ.  Before turning Pro, I was the Assistant Golf Coach at my alma mater, Florida A&M University.  Following college, I played on several Mini-Tours: the Pepsi Tour, the National Pro Golf Tour, the Championship Players Tour and the Gateway Tour.  Currently, I teach at the Golf Academy at Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land, TX.  

I attended Desert Vista High School where I was a three time All-Region and two-time All-Star golfer.  My claim to fame is playing golf with Tiger Woods in 1997 and again in 2000.  Upon the completion of my high school career, I furthered my playing career on a golf scholarship under Coach Marvin Green at Florida A&M University.  While playing collegiate golf, I was the team captain for three years, All-Conference First-Team, three year MVP and concluded my senior season placing 5th in Nationals.

My sessions are typically 30 minutes or 1 hour. I believe that an affective teacher should be able to identify a students swing flaws with the first 5 minutes of evaluation. After the problem is identified the next 40 minutes is implementation of change and understanding how to correct it. I never try and give to much information, it usually is one or two things max until we become satisfied and master that change. I put an emphasis on patience, understanding and commitment with my students because those things will progress the skill level much quicker. My goal is to make my students better then every one else's students, therefore I go all out to help my students become "self correctors" of their golf games.
