Shahin Khoeini

I've coached for almost 5 years in Colorado. I coached from U11 to U19, as well as adult teams. I currently hold US C license and UEFA C license. I am very close to obtaining my US B license, as well as my UEFA B license (waiting for my certificates, should have my certificates in late June for US B and late July for UEFA B).

I have coached in Skyline (Aurora) , Rapids North (in Thornton), and United (in Loveland). My teams had variety of skills from Bronze league to Premier leagues. I'm currrently coaching an adult team in Aurora Leage of Nations.

I've also played and coached at semi-professional level.

I'm from Iran and I moved to US 11 years ago. Back in my home country, I played in Iran's second division, and I worked with professional coaches during that time. Many of my teammates ended up playing professional soccer (not me).

I promarily worked on the fundamental understaing of the game, and roles and responsibilities of each position. Depending on the age and skill level, the focus would be different. My goal is to find the strengths and weaknesses of each player and find one area they can contribute the best. The beautiful thing about soccer is all players can become best in one area and contribute. It's coaches' responsibility to find that area and help the player flourish.

I've had numerous experiences of making so-called "worst players" into the best players in the team, by recognizing what they're talented in. As mentioned, every player is talented in something in soccer.
