More About Coach Sergio
I have coached a youth U-11 middle school team, a U-12 Futsal Team, and a U-12 team in Campbell, California and also have been an assistant coach for Willow Glen High School. I've been training mainly family and friends on my free time to help them get better as individuals. So far my age range is from 10-17 years old, but I feel comfortable training all ages.
I have played all my life and had the chance to go semi-professional for the LA Galazy 2 team, but I decided to persue a career and continue playing recreationally on my free time instead. I played on my middle school, high school, and college (D3) teams, always being one of the starters, and my greatest accomplishment was finishing 7th in the nation in 2016 for division 3.
I like to ask the parent and the player what they want to work on, then incorporate that into the first session to get an understanding on where they're at. My style and lesson plans are all based on research I've done on the Barcelona and how they train their youth and how to respect the game by having the right mindset.
