I was recently named Goaltending Development Coach of Team Ohio, as well as Vice President of ETM Goaltending. I have been coaching for about 8 years. Through USA Hockey I have my level 2 and silver goaltending certificates. I worked with USA Hockey developmental in the Mid-Am district as well as Kent Hockey Schools. I coach all levels from beginner to minor league professional and I also coach all ages from youth through adult as long as they are willing to work hard and learn.

I played college hockey at Kent State University. Previous to that, I was a top goaltender in the Pittsburgh Interscholastic Hockey League with Westmont Hilltop as well as Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League with Altoona Trackers. I was named team MVP (Westmont), Player of the month (PIHL), and was on top of many statistical categories. I also won a National Championship in 2014 with the Mid-State Mustangs.

Every session is unique, as well as each player’s training. It starts with a 15 minute dynamic stretch that the player is expected to do before getting on the ice to maximize our time. Then we go through about a 5 minute skating warm up and 5 minute shot warm up that is almost same each time to create a routine. The next 40 minutes focus on what we discuss, and where myself, as well as the player think development should be made. This can include any assortment of edge work, conditioning, tracking, reaction, and many other categories. The final 10 minutes include conditioning and a game, or extra work depending on the player. I also focus on the player outside of sessions, offering video, nutrition, fitness, and mental consulting. I focus on developing good people in order to generate great players.
