My name is Scott M. I am currently coaching Leesburg, Ga. Post 182 Legion Team. I coach the Senior and Junior teams. We just got thru winning the Legion JR State Championship in Loganville, Ga. a couple weeks ago. I have lived in or around Albany my whole life. I attended Riverview Academy in Albany, Ga then went on to play college baseball at Wallace College in Dothan, Al.

I have a deep passion for teaching and coaching. I have the experience and knowledge you are looking for to lead the program. I have a solid feel for teaching/coaching and a great eye for talent. I am able to supply you with letters of recommendations from three local athletic directors. I have 17 years of Coaching experience in all ages and environments. I am a easy going person a great team player and listener with a positive attitude while being a positive motivator and mentor. I am 38 years old, married to Sharon Mills (employed at Lee County School System). We have 3 children ages 15, 12, & 10, two of whom attend Deerfield-Windsor School in Albany and one in the Lee County school system.

As an Albany Sports Hall of Fame Athlete of the year('93) I believe I can bring knowledge and experience to any athletic event. Played against the Cuban National Team that won the Gold medal in the 1996 Olympics. In 1993 I was a All-State Basketball and Baseball Player and made the All-Region Team for Football.

Voted Most Valuable Player in Baseball,Basketball,and Football in 1993. I also worked at the YMCA in Albany for a couple of years while attending college. I worked at the Sports Park in the Mid to late 90s as a camp counselor.
