I have known Scott and his family personally and professionally for five years and found him to be a remarkable valued man who always shows class, character, respect and pride. His work ethic is only matched by his sincerity. He is loyal, honest, organized and incredibly responsible. Not only did I get a chance to coach him and watch him focused and determined to beat the odds and get drafted, but I saw the behind the scenes work he put in academically and athletically, willing to sacrifice, all while being only a part of a team, which he led to a championship. And while being humble and a role model. I have owned an 8 week winter clinic along with a summer camp for 20 years. I am a former 28 year NCAA College Coach, a former Athletics Director at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, a former NCAA Chair of NYS Baseball and NCAA Compliance Supervisor/Academic Advisor and have been very involved in politics, charity and community service. I am presently a MLB Scout where "make up" is more important then talent. I am only telling you my background to ensure that I have dealt with many young adults in my career as a Senior Administrator in NYS Higher Education. I have also had the responsibility of 10's of 1000's campers, student athletes, etc. safety, well being and development.
