More About Coach Ryan

As a former collegiate and professional baseball player, I take pride in sharing my knowledge and experience with young, driven athletes. Although I do not have coaching experience with my own teams, I've worked with hundreds of professional hitters and pitchers to help each other get better day by day as a teammate.

In college, I spent 2 years playing baseball at West Valley Junior College, and continued my collegiate career through an Athletic Scholarship at East Carolina University. I was awarded the First-Team All Conference USA, Director of Athletics Honor Roll, Third-Team Louisville Slugger All-American, and I was the 11th recipient of wearing the Honorary No. 23 Jersey at ECU. Upon finishing my 4 years of college, I was drafted in the 2014 MLB First-Year Player Draft to the Chicago Cubs, in which I pursued my career as a Starting Pitcher with this organization for 6 years. Within my duration of this organization, I received the Minor League Pitcher of the Year Award and Southern League Pitcher of the Week in August of 2015. I continued my career through the High-Point Rockers and Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Independent Baseball League.

Client Reviews

My 9 year old son needed extra help with batting. He was doing something funky with his swing. Coach ryan was able to identify exactly what the problem was, and help him work through it. His teaching approach is positive and always encouraging. My son has also been wanting to improve on pitching and Ryan has been very helpful. His knowledge and expertise has really helped our son improve. I highly recommend Coach Ryan!

Coach Ryan’s approach is a winning combination. He quickly connected with my grandson which allowed a better platform to assess and improve his baseball skills.

Coach Ryan really showed me a better way to use my lower body to make me a better player, he also improved my catching abilities and worked with me on waiting for the ball and not stabbing at it.
