More About Coach Ryan

I also have immense experience with giving pitching, hitting, and fielding lessons to young ball players of all ages. In 2005 I was the head coach of the Noblesville Millers (IN) varsity summer team that competed against some of the best teams in the state. I am also very dedicated to helping young players maximize their performance on and off the field by working with them on their mental and physical skills. I have worked for Round Tripper Baseball academy (IN) for four years where I was in charge of the youth development off-season program, as well as worked as a private lesson instructor at Extra Innings-Plano, TX in 2010/2011.

I have also given my own lessons for the past 4 years around the DFW area encompassing all ages and ability levels. Currently I am the head coach of the 16U McKinney Marshalls.

I was drafted in the eighteenth round of the 2007 June amateur draft by the Texas Rangers. On July 30th, 2010 I was traded for Cristian Guzman to the Washington Nationals where I continued my career. I have acted as both a starting pitcher and a relief pitcher throughout my career in the minor leagues. I was also a mid-season and post-season Texas League (AA) all-star in 2010. In 2014 I reached AAA with the Washington Nationals before having my contract sold to the Hanwha Eagles of the Korean Baseball Organization

I firmly believe the lower body is neglected in baseball and a lot of my concentration is maximizing the utilization of the lower half of the body no matter what position or skill level. in a typical 60 minute lesson, there are about 45 minutes of bullpen/drill work combined with about 15 min of sporadic talking of the concepts we are working on so the athlete is just not regurgitating what is being said without a firm understand as to why
