More About Coach Ronnie

*** Unique Opportunity ***
I am forming an exclusive team of elite high school players, starting in September 2018. The team will workout throughout the year once a week. This will be a great platform to make the leap from JV to Varsity or from Varsity to College. The goal is to better prepare leading players to a D-1 collegiate career.

Location will be determined soon.

Practices will focus on shaping individual skills, shot mechanics, game fundamentals, game IQ, athletics and much more. You should expect a high level of competition and lots of challenges (and fun).

Space is limited to 4 players only so apply now.
Please see more info and application process in the Session Plan section.

Coaching Experience:

Originally from Israel, one of the leading basketball countries in Europe, I am a basketball player turned coach at the age of only 16.
I have +10 years of international basketball coaching for all age groups within 6-18 years old. I acted as a head coach and assistant coach on various teams.
Achievements include - 1 regional champion (under 16), 2 country-wide runner-up (under 18), 1 division champion (under 18).
My biggest achievement is the large number of players I was able to turn into better basketball players, athletes and human beings.

Off the court, I am a high-tech executive, currently working different software start-up and growth stage companies. Previously I held different product and executive positions in advertising-tech. You can find my professional experience on Linkedin.
I hold a bachelor degree in Law from Tel-Aviv University and a MBA from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business.
I am married with a 4-year old daughter and I live in Hoboken.

Playing overseas under some of the leading coaches in Israel, I played all 5 positions which helped me to develop a more holistic playing practice. I competed with some of the best players at that time in Israel and served as the team's sole captain. My strength was mid and long-range shooting, high basketball IQ and defensive skills.

Client Reviews

Great intense first workout. Really knows what's he's doing and pushes you straight through to the finish. Cant wait to get some more work in.

Coach Ronnie is the consummate professional, always on-time, always prepared. If you are looking for a coach to teach good fundamentals then Coach Ronnie should be your first option. I have observed many coaches who run drill after drill without teaching the proper fundamentals and players end up developing bad habits which takes tremendous time and effort to break. Coach Ronnie comes to each session prepared with a written program designed specifically for my son's development. He takes the time to explain and demonstrate each drill so my son fully understands how to execute the drill as well as where and when that particular drill is applicable in a game situation. He provides timely feedback and a weekly practice program for my son to work on his own. My is son now acquiring the knowledge to refine his skill set and working to transform himself into a more well rounded player. Coach Ronnie, I appreciate your professionalism and commend you for your willingness to do this almost for free for the love of the game. Keep up the good work!

Great first work out ! Looking forward to more
