I am a nationally known Hall of Fame coach. I am the winningest coach in New York City Cardozo high school history with over 750 wins. Have worked with dozens of NBA players as well as top NCAA and HS players on down to the youth leagues.

- 2002 NABC Guardians of the Game Service Award along with John Wooden and Dave Gavitt

- 2014 inducted in Brooklyn Basketball Hall of Fame

I have won several Coach of the year awards. Led Cardozo to 3 City Championships, produced 4 NBA players, 91 D1 and 8 overseas just from my school. Over 40 years experience. Works with USA Youth Basketball as well as NBA Cares. Written several books and is constantly called upon to do clinics throughout the USA. Have been inducted into several Halls of Fame

Joshua has been playing and training since he was 5 years old. He started at the Y with instructional BB and later the Junior Nicks. When he was too old for Jr Nicks, he joined Skyline, a travelling BB team; and recently trained with First Shot coaches on a one on one (he was too advanced so one on one was offered) and all this training I witnessed with different coaches and teams over the years (and they were intense!), I never saw a coach use the techniques you used with Joshua yesterday. I always watch my grandson train and play; yesterday I like what I saw because the techniques you used he can continue using outside the court and in any weather - smart. Thank you for sharing your thoughts as well.

My daughter got a lot out of her first training session.

Today I had a first lesson with coach Ron. He truly challenged my 11 yo. We worked on dribbling, shooting, handling, while keeping it fun and challenging. We are really looking forward to our next session.
