More About Coach Roger

I am currently a sixth grade varsity coach in Franklin, TN I have been the Head Coach of an AAU Basketball program since 2006 in Murfreesboro, TN. In addition to my AAU coaching duties, I have been giving private basketball sessions and have been an assistant coach for an elementary school and high school in Murfreesboro since 2004. The teams I have coached have won four showcase championships since 2006. FUNDAMENTALS and DEFENSE are what I specialize in because I believe that once those two aspects of the game are understood then the offensive game will make more sense to the athlete. I believe that anybody can just “Play” the game of basketball but in order to become a “Top Notch” basketball player and catch the eye of the coach you must master the fundamentals of the game. I believe that kids are hungry to learn how to become a complete basketball player and I enjoy the process of teaching and coaching the game to male or female athletes.

I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in 2010 and I am very excited about the opportunity to work with any eager athlete, male or female.
