In a personal training session an athlete can expect a hockey specific full body workout. After a dynamic warmup I like to start with ladders and mini bands for all footwork and agility. From there move on to larger resistance bands to build functional strength in the necessary muscles specific to hockey players. After off-ice/ plyometrics there is a lift based off of the athletes age and ability. Conditioning will take place the turf (sprints, shuttles, sleds) or on the state of the art skating treadmill which is also used for skating development.
