More About Coach Robert
I am a native Washingtonian who currently reside in Temple Hills MD. I played high school basketball at Gonzaga College High School. I also played at Virginia State university. I have been coaching for twenty plus years. I am affiliated with the program at gozaga College High School currently. I have coached freshman, JV and varsity summer league teams. i have worked the purple Eagle basketball camp as an instructor for the last ten years. I worked the "Five Star" basketball camps for the last five years or so as an instructor and coach.
A typical session last about an hour and a half. I have gym access all of the time. We stretch first. sprints, ball handling drills (both hands), passing drills (chest, bounce etc..), chair drills with lay-ups (both hands) jumpshot drills from the elbow off of the chair (both elbows).cool downs ten freethrows. face up offensive drills with cones(single and double)defensive slides and footwork drills. Sprints followed by freethrows. that's a typical session, depending on the ballplayers' skillset.
