Rick Campbell

I am a motivated educator of the game of basketball. If you want to improve your basketball fundamentals and are willing to work hard and have some fun, than I'm your coach. I have been running Hoop Dreams Basketball Camp in Half Moon Bay for the past 25 years and have a great reputation for pushing kids to improve, but also making it a fun experience. I have over 30 years of teaching and coaching experience at the elementary, middle school and high school level. My goal is to try to instill a love and passion for the game of basketball and help kids to enjoy their experience and to understand that hard work pays off.

Was a three sport athlete in high school (Basketball, Football and Baseball) M.L.L. All-League in football and baseball. Played baseball at Foothill College.

Every training session is designed for each individual player and their age and skill level. Some may need to work on speed, as others may need to improve shooting. Although each player is different, the main fundamentals will be covered in every session (ball handling, shooting, speed/agility, and defense.)
