More About Coach Ricardo

I started coaching players and running private soccer sessions in the DFW market. I have coached 100+ players with various ages and abilities. Now having moved to OC I am looking for new clients and to build my brand/market here in the area. I have coached high school varsity soccer as an assistant and ran my private soccer lessons business as well. I have helped countless players achieve their soccer goals whether it is to make the varsity roster, earn a D1 scholarship, or even for professional trials. I have worked with athletes in the age range of 6-20. I currently am in class earning my C license.

I played 4 years at Bryant University. Bryant is lauded for it prestigious soccer program competing in the NCAA Division 1 level. I also have played professionally in the US, Argentina and Andorra.

I usually run my session in four parts. First is always the warm up. To make sure the athlete's muscle are ready for an intense workout. Next is footwork/dribbling. Drills can range from beginner to expert depending on athlete's skill level. Mostly cone drills with different variations. Next is Passing drills. Can be with another player or with passing walls. Lastly is finishing. I usually add a good amount of fitness with the finishing drills. Lastly I train small groups from 2-5 of I also do private's.

Client Reviews

Coach Ricky is clearly a very skilled soccer player and, in my opinion, an even higher skilled coach...a rare combination of talent! My son has worked off and on (in between soccer and baseball seasons) with Coach Ricky since he was 6 years old. He is now almost 9 years old and plays competitive club ball. "Thank you" coach for meeting my son at his level and taking it from there...leveling up his confidence, skills on and off the ball, and his love for the game!

Coach Ricky has been great taking my son to his next level. We just started and he's already seeing improvements in his game. Coach Ricky gave my son some juggling drills to do at home as well and it's helped with his control and most importantly his confidence. My son looks forward to these high energy training sessions. Coach Ricky is very easy to talk to and will help you on anything your child needs to work on.

Ricky is one of the most gifted midfielders I've had the pleasure to coach. A natural leader on the field, he captained our squad to a first place finish in just his second year with the club. I value his on field abilities such as his vision, passing, dribbling/1v1 and his powerful outside the box finishing. I would highly recommend taking lessons from someone who lives and breathes soccer like Ricky.
