Rian Marques

I’m a USSF C and CBF C licensed coach who have been coaching for the past 9 years. I’m from Brazil and since I arrived in the US in 2016, I have been coaching soccer at different levels in many states including Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Tennessee.

Currently, I coach competitive teams and players from ages of 12-18 but I also train recreational and competitive players from age of 6-12.

I’m currently a professional soccer player for the Kansas City Comets and I have been playing with them since 2021. I have won awards such as team’s top scorer, rookie team of the year, and team of the week.

Before I joined the Comets, I played college soccer for 4 years. In my senior year, I was fortunate to win a national championship playing for Central Methodist University in 2019. In 2020, I was able to win another national title, this time playing for Springfield Demize in the PASL where I was the league's top scorer.

My training sessions are also tailored to the player’s needs. I plan my first session to explore different part of the game so I can evaluate the athlete and plan the following sessions.

First training session will be split in three parts where the player will be working many drills to show his skills in different parts of the game such as first touch, dribbling, passing, and shooting.
