More About Coach Reece
I have been working and coaching with all ages groups (4 - 20+ years old) in group or individual sessions. I have worked with the Schenectady basketball teams throughout the last decade on player and skill development.
In my time overseas (Scotland, United Kingdom) I worked with athletes of similar ages; refining coaching methods and learning how to impact different areas of the game under FIBA rules.
CPR certified through American Red Cross.
•I played varsity basketball for Schenectady high school from 2006-2010.
•Redshirt at Le moyne college (freshman year).
•1,000 point scorer Schenectady County community college (1.5 seasons)
•Earned scholarship to Ave Maria University (Division 2)
•Played college basketball in Scotland (Edinburgh University)
•Played professional basketball in Scotland
(Edinburgh)
•Looking to continue my own playing career into Spain at the end of this summer!
Throughout my life I have adjusted workouts on the fly if I see something that needs further attention in order to break bad habits and improve. Session drills and techniques include but are not limited to:
• Offensive work (e.g. shooting, dribbling, footwork, I.Q. Training)
• Defensive work (e.g. Shell drill, lateral quickness, I.Q. Training)
I work with all positions and players of all skill levels making learning and growth as enjoyable as possible!
