I have been a certified NASM personal trainer for 12 years. I work with teens up to to 80 years and beyond. I train everyone like an athlete, old and young since we all need to move correctly and prevent injuries no matter what we do in life. We all move in 3 planes of motion, need our core to stabilize, and move using our muscles as a system. I specialize in functional and core training. I look at the person's posture and weakness and improve upon that to make them function better. Although, I work with athletes I enjoy helping all non-athletes learn to love taking care of their physical body and be active participants in their own health. I worked with five years with physical therapists and therefore specialize in post rehabilitation. I also have a pre/post natal certification as well as kettlebell, TRX Suspension training, water aerobics, and weight & lifestyle management. I have trained at Boston Sports Club, Wellbridge Athletic Club, Energize Fitness Studio, and currently have a home fitness studio and for additional costs will travel to one's home or gym.

I played division one Rugby at UMass Amherst and both my junior and senior year was All-American. My main sport now is snowboarding and I try to go every weekend. I also run, strength train, and do yoga. In high school I completed in field hockey and indoor and outdoor track.

I typically like running a client through a circuit program of switching exercises and muscle groups and adding some anaerobic drills in between, so one can build cardiovascular endurance and power, burn more calories, and keep a higher heart rate. Of course, if one is deconditioned, we work up to this. I want to create the most efficient program in an hour that is tailored to one's individual goals.
