More About Coach Rachael
Its imperative that my clients understand my passion for motivating and inspiring them to reach their goals. The love, passion and motivation I have for fitness stems from a lifetime of sports related and outdoor activities. It is the same passion that drove me to go to school for personal training and nutrition to better my understanding.
As a former athlete and athletic trainer it is also essential to make sure my clients have the basic skills and knowledge to always get better and understand the endless possibilities through health and fitness.
I have worked with a wide range of people including collegiate athletes in soccer and rowing, seniors with health complications and mothers, post pregnancy and mother daughter duos. I feel that the information and knowledge I possess and obtained from each individual has made me that much more valuable in the fitness community in addition to my credentials from NPTI.
I played soccer for 14 years, one of those years includes college. Midway through my last year in soccer I interned as an athletic trainer.
Soon after I began to run and complete 10ks, half marathons and ultimately marathons and one ultra marathon in Sacramento, Ca.
It is safe to say that not every client is the same so not every client will have the same workouts.
Every client starts off with an assessment and then we go over goals. After goals are set and I am aware of their health history I will set up a plan that has progressions and if need be modifications.
A basic workout will be ran with a warm-up, (specific training depending on the individuals goals), Metabolic workout and a cool down.
