More About Coach Quron

I have experience coaching children from 5 to college athletes. I have been able to work with elementary/middle school mostly. I would train kids after school and allow them to have activities to keep them focused. I have trained with high-level coaches, players, and trainers from the NBA level to Division 3 basketball. I have worked with players such as DJ Biggins ( Top 10 high school player in CT '26) and Badara Diaktie ( ESPN Top 20 '25'). Some high-level college guys I have trained were Toby Harris ( UAA first team), and Guillermo & Jorge Diaz Graham ( Univ. of Pitt). I Have also worked with pro trainers Steve Johnston & Jaquan Starks, two of CT's best professional trainers. I can offer different understandings and knowledge of basketball experience and knowledge to help improve. My ability to connect with people opened professional doors.

I started by basketball career playing NEPSAC basketball a private prep school league in New England. There I attended the Master’s school one of the best prep schools in New England. At The Master’s school, I was able to win Player of the year and an honorable mention for the New England team. Also, become a top 10 player in the state of CT and a top 30 recruit in New England. After I attended IMG Academy, the #1 sports academy in the country. I was able to train and play against 3 NBA lottery picks in the 2023 NBA Draft. I would then go on to play college basketball at Division 3 Brandeis University ( 2026). Brandeis plays in the best Division 3 league in the country ( UAA) so I compete against the best D3 players in the country. In my first year, I averaged 9ppg, 6.3rpg. And 2.3 apg, Starting every game and playing the second most minutes on the team.

My workout plan will consist of whatever my player wants to improve. Before we train I will ask my client what their biggest strengths and areas of improvement are. Once we are able to tackle areas of improvement I will construct a workout plan suited for them. I do want to improve my client's primary skill set such as finishing with both hands, proper footwork, defense, and conditioning. Then we will add more secondary skills and help improve their knowledge of basketball. Once my client is able to master the basic fundamentals of basketball, then I will introduce more skillful drills. For younger children, my goal is to make the child's experience as a basketball player memorable. I want the drills to be fun but also allow them to learn and improve daily. As long as my players are happy and getting 1% better every day.
