More About Coach Philip

With 3–5 years coaching collegiate athletes, I’ve worked in fitness and college training centers. I have a BS in Neuroscience, a Mastes in Health Sciences, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology. I hold an ACE personal training certificate.

I played soccer, track, and basketball throughout high school and have extensive experience coaching collegiate athletes, specializing in performance, skill development, and mental resilience.

My session plans are designed to address both the mental and physical aspects of peak performance. They include mental health coaching strategies such as visualization, biofeedback, and guided imagery, which are proven techniques to help athletes improve focus, manage performance anxiety, and develop a winning mindset. These tools not only enhance performance but also build resilience and confidence, which are essential for long-term success.

In addition to mental coaching, I provide comprehensive personal training tailored to the unique needs of each client. My exercise plans are carefully crafted to align with individual goals, whether that’s improving strength, endurance, flexibility, or overall fitness. By integrating evidence-based fitness programming with mental conditioning, my approach ensures that clients achieve balance and optimal performance in both body and mind.

I bring a unique combination of expertise to my coaching, combining my background in personal training with advanced knowledge from my studies in clinical psychology. This holistic approach allows me to understand and address the challenges athletes face, from physical fitness hurdles to the mental barriers that can impact performance.
