More About Coach Paul

Everyone knows that boxing is the best cardio workout you can do. Instead of mindlessly punching a bag (like the majority of boxing gyms), I use focus mitts to conduct interval training so we can refine your technique and learn a valuable skill. I also incorporate fundamental drills and HIIT to add variety to our session.

I have been training and fighting as a Pro and Amateur boxer for over 13 years. I started in the Marine Corps and eventually became a member of USA Boxing where I received my coaching certification.

As a fighter, I competed in the Ringside World Championship and won the Kansas City Guns and Hoses Championship three years in a row. I've trained with world-renowned fighters and was taught by Olympian coaches. As a trainer, I’ve taught everyone from pro boxers to celebrities.

Our sessions will be goal specific but mostly focused on mitt work and flow drills since it's a phenomenal HIIT workout. Again, we will incorporate calisthenics and ab exercises so you go home knowing you received the best workout possible!

I had one session with Paul so far and it was great experience. I hired him because I wanted to understand and learn the actual sport of boxing and I felt Paul did a great job in teaching. Paul seems like a stand up guy and is very professional and didn't once seem irritated as I had an endless amount of questions throughout the session.. and he had the boxing knowledge to answer all of my questions and correct me and my form when necessary. He started with an assessment of what I knew, and worked on general footwork, basic punches, mitt work, and then touched very lightly on the head movement, blocking, with more emphasis on working on fundamentals since I'm new. Looking forward to our next session.
