My name is Patrick Mulkeen and I have been a Baseball Instructor for the last 6 years. I started as a strength and conditioning coach as a 17 year old due to my background in track and field as well as cross country. I was trained as an instructor from a large franchise, I learned their instruction method and found it to be insanely flawed and full of bad habit-causing methods. With my educational background in science and medicine, I've been able to get a firm grasp on how the body works physiologically and what types of fundamentals need to be present to ensure success, safety, and sustainability throughout a career in baseball. My methods break down the small bad habits players get from quick fixes and fancy major league imitating stances and attempts to install a feel of individuality to the player and his swing, form or pitching motion. I have a very easy going approach which motivates your player to strive to be the best without putting an obsessive amount of effort which can be the downfall of any baseball player. I have learned a lot from the game once I became an instructor and its my passion to share what I have gone through and learned with the players I work with. Hope to hear from you soon!!

I have four high school varsity years of experience as a pitcher, shortstop, catcher and outfielder for a catholic high school in Bergen County. I had an opportunity to play Division 1 baseball at Winthrop University in South Carolina but decided to remain in New Jersey and pursue a business revolving around baseball instruction.

4 year Varsity starter at Paramus Catholic in Paramus NJ. Pitcher, Outfield and Shortstop experience at the parochial varsity level.

3 years American Legion Experience. 2 years with Wyckoff and the first year of Waldwick Legion. Pitching, outfield and catching experience at the senior legion level.

3 years on the Bergen Black Sox showcase travel team with outfield pitching and catching experience.

One fall season at Rampo College with starting outfield experience.

5 years of Amatuer Baseball Association experience. Outfield, Pitching, Catching, Shortstop experience at the highest competitive level they offer.

Many other athletic achievements that can be discussed upon request including track, cross country as well as my adult experience with amateur baseball leagues.

For most 1 on 1 coaching sessions I would begin with an introductory lesson to ensure that your player can get a good grasp on my methods of teaching as well as some small tweaks to remove the bad habits that make hitting difficult. Each session is linked to the previous ones and practice to be done at home on a nightly basis is given to ensure that your player is putting the time into getting better. Pitching, Hitting and Fielding can all be covered as I have had success in all areas. Each session is personally customized to make sure each individual player can grow to the best of their ability.
