Pj Conlon

I have worked with and coached athletes anywhere from beginner stage to the college level. I can provide hitting, fielding, and pitching lessons for younger athletes while I would prefer to stick with pitching for older athletes to provide them with in depth analysis, training, and tips to take them to the next level.

I received a baseball scholarship to attend the University of San Diego to play under Coach Rich Hill. I was named an All American during my time there while compiling an overall record of 22-7 with a 2.83 ERA over my 3 seasons as a Torero, all while playing besides great teammates such as Kris Bryant. I was drafted in the 13th Round by the New York Mets in 2015. In 2016 I was named the MiLB’s Most Outstanding Starting Pitcher and led all of minor league baseball with a 1.65 ERA. That year I was also named a South Atlantic League All Star and given the honor to start the game. In 2017, I was at the AA level all year and was named to the Eastern League All Star team. In 2018, I was called up to the Major Leagues by the Mets and made my major league debut on May 7th against the Cincinnati Reds, becoming the first Irish Born major leaguer since 1945.

I will be able to analyze the athletes mechanics and tendencies through drills and video work. We will then have specific drills and exercises to work on in order to maximize the athletes skill set. All the information I’ve learned from coaches all the way through the top level of Major League Baseball will greatly benefit every athlete no matter the age.
