More About Coach Omar
I am currently an assistant coach of the Alfred University Men's soccer team. I have coached in multiple summer skills camps such as the Abby Wamback and University of Rochester Summer Day Camps during the summer of 2014 and 2015. I have also worked with the Alfred University summer camps in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Currently a member of the Rochester Lancer pro soccer team roster. Played in first two rounds of the Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup for the season 17/18.
As a Saxon player, I started all four seasons at midfield. He played in a total of 69 games while accumulating 20 points off of eight assists and six goals. Scored two game-winning goals as well in my career. Helped the Saxons earn back-to-back post season berths in 2014 and 2015. In his junior season, they made the Empire 8 playoffs for the first time in 10 years. The Saxons also made an appearance in the ECAC Metro/Upstate Championships that season followed with a second stay in the tournament the second year.
Was an All-Empire 8 First Team member as well as a team captain for the Saxons during his time as a student-athlete.
The drills and techniques I do during training sessions are based on the skill level of each individual player. But my sessions are designed to get the best from each player as it is fun, interactive, and competitive.

Coach Omar is awesome. Our 9 year old daughter is so happy with her training and looks forward to her weekly her training sessions. Coach Omar is very engaged and hands on.
