More About Coach Omar

I have been coaching and training athletes in the sport of wrestling since 2004. I have coached wrestlers from youth all the way through college aged athletes. I have coached and ran the Scorpions Wrestling Club in NJ from 2004-2010. I have coached at St. Benedict's Prep HS from 2010-present. I own and run Total Force WC since 2014.

I have wrestled since the age of 6. I have been a youth state and national age group champion. I was a 4x HS National Prep All-American and finalist. I am currently training to complete at the Veteran World Championships next year in Warsaw, Poland.

A client can expect a thorough review and analysis of wrestling video before getting into what needs to be worked on. My sessions are technique based and focused for about an hour or so. In a normal practice session, depending on the technique needed to be trained, there will be a warm up and stretch for about 5-10 min, a continued warm up in the form of drilling from the neutral position, any leg attacks for another 5-10 minutes. The rest of the training session will be focused specifically on the technique at hand, going through various methods of executing a technique.
