More About Coach Octreyvius
I have played professional basketball overseas in the Netherlands, Dominican Republic, and Mexico. I also served as an assistant coach for a big time private school's JV Men's basketball team. I prefer to work with kids and teenagers to help develop the proper skills and techniques of today's youth. I also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education.
I was a Junior College All-American at Catawba Valley Community College as well as the 2007 Tarheel Conference player of the year. I received 1st team all freshman, all-conference, and all-region honors. I am also a back to back champion for the Upstate Heat of the WBA professional league.
I like to incorporate all parts of the game into my training drills. Ball handling, conditioning, and shooting will be worked on with one full court drill. As a G/F I'm able to teach post play as well. I am a defensive minded player so I teach defense the same way I aimed to play it.
