More About Coach Nyasha
I have worked with many ages ranging from youth (7-14) to high school (15-18) and am more than comfortable working with collegiate level players as well. I have previously coached at summer camps for ages 8-15 and have past experience in private training for high school aged players.
Youth Level:
- Colorado Rapids ECNL
- USL Academy CISA
- High School: 4 year varsity player and captain (Senior Year) // First and Second Team (Senior and Junior year respectively) All League honors and helped the team clinch its first playoff berth in five years (Junior Year)
Semi-Pro:
USL 2 CISA
The main focus of my sessions is technique (first touch, passing, dribbling) and getting comfortable on the ball with both feet. Getting as many touches as possible to encourage ball mastery is key for players. Once I am able to work with a player and understand their skill level, position, and how they learn best, I am more than capable of tailoring sessions to their position and specific needs. Communicating with both the player and parent is important as well to address changing needs, targeting weaknesses, and sharpening natural strengths.
