More About Coach Nora
I coach all ages and all levels, from the collegiate athlete or aspiring professional, to the young kid or mom/dad just wanting to get better or have fun on the sand :) I have coached in a few different clubs in LA as well as in France and Morocco. I coach private lessons as well as group lessons.
I have been in the Moroccan National Team (beach and indoor) since 2015. I just won the African Beach Games 2023 qualifying for the World Beach Games, and won the 2022-23 Beach African Championship qualifying to the World championship. I won a gold medal at the African Beach Games in 2019, as well as a bronze medal at the 2021 Indoor African Cup. I was also named best back row player in the French National U21 cup before coming to the US and played pro indoor in France.
My player/coach motto is “Reps, reps, reps”! Depending on the needs of my client(s), I usually start (after warm up) with a footwork drill (with a ball) as it’s a great way to start your practice, making the beach vb footwork part of your muscle memory. Then I work on technique skills and if the client wants/needs, I do some cardio drills (still and always with a ball) that work your technique while being “tired”. All of that while making it super fun! :)
