I have four years of youth hockey coaching for the St. Louis Park/Armstrong-Cooper Hockey Association in Minnesota, as a coach and girl's goalie coach; three years of experience as a youth goalie instructor for Armstrong-Cooper boy's and girl's goalies (ages 8-15); and two years as a goalie instructor at the Adam Hauser Goalie Camp (coaching ages 10-18). In addition, I was also an evaluator for the Minnesota Development Program (selecting U14 and U15 girls to go on to the US Olympic Development camps) and for the Wayzata Youth Hockey Association.

I was a goalie at the collegiate level and continued to play through law school in co-ed leagues with a mix of ex-high school through ex-semi-pro men 's players and ex-collegiate women's players (we take hockey pretty seriously in MN). I was the #1 rated goalie growing up in North Dakota and was a top three star of the game multiple games in college.

I like to work with goalies one-on-one or in small groups with a couple of shooters. Generally, I like to start the goalie off with some movement and skating drills and move on to shooting drills. Depending on the age and objective of the athlete, I try to help them improve their fundamentals while making them aware of the little things that can help them improve their game.
