More About Coach Nicole

I have experience coaching at the club level for Cardinals and Nor'Easter in CT. In addition, I coached high school lacrosse as JV head and Varsity assistant coach at Jonathan Law High School in Milford, CT for the 2017 and 2018 season and lead them to their first ever State playoff win. Most recently, I spent the past 2 seasons coaching for D2 program, University of Bridgeport Women's Lacrosse as the Head Assistant coach. At UB, I helped lead them to their first ever conference playoff appearance and helped coach 2 players to all conference honors.

I compete in D2 lacrosse at Southern CT State University in the NE-10 conference, starting all 4 years at both midfield and attack, specializing in taking the draw. At Southern, I lead the team in goals and points my sophomore, junior and senior years. My junior year I was an all NE-10 Conference selection and led the conference in draw controls. I currently hold Southern's career records for goals, points and draw controls.

The session will start off with a dynamic warm up to ensure that the athletes body is prepared to complete the tasks at hand. From there, we will transition into some footwork (ladder & cone routines) in order to train the athlete how to properly break down steps, change direction and accelerate quickly. Warming up the stick with a wall ball/bounce back routine to get the athlete seeing the ball. After this has been completed, we will break down into more specialized aspects dependent on the athletes needs. Whether it be shooting, defensive positioning, ground balls, draw controls, etc.
