More About Coach Nicole

I have been training athletes since 2013. I specialize in speed and agility training, along with basketball workouts that revolve around skill, precision, technique, and stamina. I have coached at the Division 1 college level as a Player Development and Assistant Coach, where I was also in charge of conditioning and agility workouts. I have also coached at the Division II level as an assistant coach where my core responsibility was training our players 1 on 1 during pre season and training them in guard/post workouts during the season.

I played basketball at the Collegiate Level at Caldwell University. While there, I earned all conference honors as well as scoring over 1000 points.

First, I would evaluate my clients. I would see what their strengths and weaknesses are, so that I could further make individual workout plans for them going forward. During my sessions, I always start off with a warm up stretch. During that stretch my clients workout out their muscles and get their body warm. I do this to help prevent injury during a workout. I have trained athletes in many sports, so if that is the case, If I was training a player of a sport other than basketball, such as soccer, softball/baseball, lacrosse etc. then I would put them through speed and agility circuit workouts. During these workouts my clients would work on foot speed, change of speed, change of direction, lower body strength and explosion, and also core strength. In the past, I have also incorporated their sport, and added in drills with a glove, ball, stick, etc, so they are getting the maximum amount of training to be successful in their athletic area. If I had a client that wanted to focus simply on basketball skill work, I would also evaluate them, and based on their position, and areas where they would like to improve, I would work on ball handling, shooting form, shooting routine, game-speed shooting, shooting with pressure, ball protection, routine and muscle memory, change of speed and direction while dribbling, footwork while playing defense, defensive stance, and stamina.
