Experienced personal trainer and group fitness instructor, working with athletes, adults, senior, and selected populations (ex: Parkinson's). I have spent the time working with Olympic, Collegiate, High School and Middle School aged athletes as a Head Swim Coach, Basketball Skill Development Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Athletic Trainer.
Spent 15 years as a competitive swimmer, including at the collegiate level from 2007-2011 at Ohio Northern University. Competed in the 200 and 400 Individual Medley, the 200 Butterfly, and the 200 Backstroke, earning all-conference honors 5 times. Spent all for years competing for the Ohio Northern University Triathlon Club, where I was elected president for the last two years. Currently spend time working with athletes and training for triathlons.
Typically, workouts will begin with a warm-up, focusing on improving mobility, teaching proper movement patterns, and elevating the heart rate for the main workout. The main workout will be tailored to the goals of the individual. These goals will be discussed prior to our first session. Each workout will finish with a Cool-down period, focusing on flexibility and injury prevention and recovery
